QAPPS at GI Quantum Computing Workshop


On the 29th September we held our second GI Quantum Computing Workshop. At the workshop, the accepted papers were presented. Further, we've had two keynotes: one on the topic of software engineering in quantum computing and another one on HPC in quantum computing.

QApps at bitkom Quantum Summit


The virtual conference gave a good overview of the current industrial state of quantum technologies. Prominent enterprises like BMW, Deutsche Bahn, Volkswagen see great potential in the adoption of quantum computing, form dedicated internal teams and cooperate with academic partners. Quantum-inspired algorithms are leading to performance improvements, such as traffic optimization at the Hamburg port. All presentations are available online:

QApps is live


The QApps initiative was officially launched. Funded by the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism, the prerequisites are created to realize competitive advantages through quantum computing together with industrial partners. This includes access to physical quantum computers, a high-performance computing cluster for simulations, integrations of manufacturing machines and a co-working space.
